"little c!" professor oak called to the pokemon. the castform hovered over to the professor with glee. ecstatic to see the long time visitor. "here you go, a poffin!" ian would feed it to the castform. sometime after they would come to sit down underneath the shade of a tree. ian talking while examining the castform and ensuring its health.

"anyway, i met a super actress. not just any old actress, thee evangeline. and let me tell you, total beauty. i mean wow, if looks good kill? she'd be in jail for mass homicide." castform continued to eat poffin held within professor oak's hand, all while listening to his story. "aside from that you seem to be healthy and doing well, meaning you're ready to go to the lab!" with a pokeball in hand he'd offer the castform the honor of opening it.

"time to come home with me. i need to do some more studying on your form changing. you're mature enough and ready to see the outside world, what do you say buckeroo?" without hesitation the castform would merrily tap the ball. in exchange it would want more poffins, ian had a strong hand at baking.

waving a poffin over the lake, ian called, "tym-tym, you here? i got a nice treat for you." and with just a single flick the tympole would emerge from the water to catch the poffin. "nice job, now come over here!" the pokemon swam with glee to the shore of where ian resided. "let's examine you now," after sometime ian and the tympole would finish said examination, "everything's looking healthy. to think you grew this much in three weeks."

standing from his position, he'd say, "i think it's fair that we bring you to your new home: my lab, which is technically my home, back in littleroot." a pokeball revealed, he'd lightly tap the tympole's head. "and that's another one for storage, i'm sure we'll find you a good trainer."

ian searched for the next pokemon his list. they had yet to appear. for now he continued to roam the area.

again he bypassed pokemon after pokemon, but he hadn't found the one he was in search of. "where could they be? it's not like this place is that big enough." ian would turn toward the entrance, "could they have gotten out? they've always been a slippery one."

as he stood underneath an oran berry tree. he could feel something scuttling onto his neck. "oh, spin! hey, there you are!" with a single pokemon food in his hand that was hidden within his coat pocket. he'd feed the spider a piece.

massaging the pokemon's head, he'd say, "there, there buddy. it's time for your examination." after sometime ian would conduct some tests. while doing that he would also take a sample of the pokemon's blood, placing it into a vial, and putting away. after having done that he would go onto say, "well, it's time to take you back to the lab. you seem to be doing well in your natural habitat, so now we bring you for research purposes." feeding the spinarak once more, he'd offer the chance to enter the pokeball on its own.
